Ed Leonard is more than just a seasoned performer—he’s a Texas-based Air Force veteran, a devoted husband, and a lifelong musician with a heart for heartfelt storytelling and toe-tapping tunes. Hailing from Gatesville, Texas, Ed has been playing guitar since 1986 and captivating audiences as the front man for several bands throughout the 1990s. After taking a break to raise his family and lead worship in the United Pentecostal Church, Ed returned to the stage with a renewed passion and a unique solo act: Ed Leonard and Friends.
Since 2015, Ed has been living his dream as a full-time entertainer, performing 125-160 shows a year across Texas and beyond. His performances are anything but ordinary—he tailors every set to the crowd, reading the room and playing exactly what the audience wants to hear. From Classic Country favorites to a little Classic Rock and more, Ed’s shows are lively, heartfelt, and always full of surprises.
